In this unconventional multiplatform as well as first person shooter’s game set seven hundred years in the future, human race faces extinction from the darkness in the only city that remains. It is protected from obliteration by a sphere called the Traveler that also protects only certain individuals possessing appropriate powers and guardians who are also players themselves. Combining adventure across the universe Destiny provides open game world experiences with unforeseen events.

As guardians, players adopt one of the three classes available, such as hunter, titan or warlocks. They all differ with regards to their own powers, such as magic, cunning or certain spirits. There is also Master Chief which has thunderous attack powers.

There are various missions in this video game to choose from as well, such as story mission that involves investigating the source of power signal as well as exploring the cosmodrome in Russia, exploration and co-op only mission. The Tower offers social area. We also can embark on a journey through solar system and other galaxies.

There are various side missions with dungeon exploration during which characters can evolve. Playing on other planets or in gladiatorial schools is available through modes. With success, upgrades are offered along with armour customisation. There are also expansion packs available such as The Dark Below and House of Wolves.

Destiny is MMO game from Bungie that takes place in a shared world. It allows for global illuminations and dynamic lighting at the same time. It is to be released first for PS 4, and later for Xbox One as well as Xbox 360 and PS3 in September.
