Little Nightmares

In Little Nightmares girl called Six is trapped in the strange world of Maw, where sick and powerful creatures reside. Previously called Hunger by Tansier studio it was changed to reflect the world of shadows and all that reminds of nightmares. Six wakes up in the world of The Maw, where she also travels. All we know about her is that she has been kidnapped. Now she needs to get out of this world as quickly as possible. There are five levels of this world that reminds of an underwater ship. She is haunted by creatures along with everything else that tries to devour or destroy her.

This puzzle game can be solved with the help of the environment. The Maw presents itself as little child’s nightmare. All elements seem to be high shown in a dim lighting. Grown ups that appear in the game are much taller and quicker than Six. She passes through places often associated with nightmares, just as other creatures are passing by as well. Six is escaping the dangers that are part of her environment of which she is captive. We can see the inhabitants in the world that slowly draws us inside its mysterious grasp.

There are many elements in Little Nightmares where we need to make our own guesses what is going on, as there are many strange elements that are not obvious. Even though we observe the action in 2D the action is in 3D.

Little Nightmares game combines puzzle and storytelling. One of its greatest appeals are the graphics. The artistic values of Little Nightmares enhance the environment of childhood fears that overpowers Six. Other elements of this game involve metaphors as well as meaning. When we pass through the rooms of Little Nightmares we become aware of the situation that Six has to deal with along with predators moving through the property. The Maw itself is distorted especially when viewed from the child’s point of view. The structures of the Maw in Little Nightmares can be used as well as built.

The only way to get out of the world of Little Nightmares is jumping through platforms. Also, environmental puzzles need to be solved. Six has to avoid confrontation with her opponents, only passing through seamlessly without drawing attention.

Persona 5 unveils puzzles that need to be solved provided through features in form of palaces, castles or pyramids containing enemies.

Persona 5 is a role-playing game, where the main character is falsely accused of an assault and transferred to the fictional Shujin Academy. It takes place in Tokyo that has specific weather patterns influencing human behavior. There are also other events as well as activities that have their significance in the game. Relationships that are symbolized by arcanas with systems that need to be developed as well as improved.

The main protagonist is thrown out of school after he tries to help a woman being assaulted by a well-known politician. He is then forced to use a supernatural mobile app where he has to reform the city by stealing the emotional trigger of their behavior. He is transferred into another reality called Metaverse, where he can access other people’s subconscious state of mind and battle evil in society. He is also joined by his friends and learn about secret conspiracies behind the scenes. It turns out that Metaverse has been infiltrated by a politician who wants to become a prime minister.

The battle seems to be lost just as they receive an unexpected help from the politician’s son wanting to take revenge on his father. They are able to help other imprisoned residents while revealing the true identity of other characters such as Igor, Caroline, and Justine. They also defeat other impostors and Morganas that control humanity while releasing their desire for freedom.

Other protagonists represent various types of characteristic and vices. Skills and abilities can be mixed in the same way that personas can be mixed. There are various Metaverse dungeons that are not typical dungeons as they involve jumping across the walls when trying to leave.

In Persona 5 it is possible to negotiate with enemies while using their weaknesses. What distinguishes this game are interactions with other protagonists. These elements enhance the serious themes that the game explores. Most elements are unique, but there are parts where players can return called Mementos or deeper levels where Personas can be found and fused as well as where side missions can be performed. These missions also involve triggering changes in enemies for rewards. There are also other characters in Mementos that need to be changed.

The main character engages in various work and leisure activities as well as participates in social life. Apart from these activities, he explores dungeons that relate to the story as well as represent some suppressed psyches.

Persona 5 also allows for the exploration of various districts of Tokyo.
